Home owners are often unclear how to work with an interior designer or interior decorator. This guide should answer some of your questions:

Unlike the majority of interior designers and decorators, we do not charge an hourly fee. Instead, our compensation comes from the difference of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price and the cost of the goods. Rain Decor allows us to purchase directly from manufacturers, allowing us to offer our services without the need for hourly charges, saving you significantly. If Rain Decor doesn’t find something perfect from standard suppliers, she will look everywhere until she finds the perfect piece.

We select and purchase products for your design — no need for you to go shopping in stores or online. Our team takes care of the entire process on your behalf, including; purchasing, following up with multiple vendors, organizing freight, dealing with damages, and all the other myriad tasks needed to ensure your project is completed.

Each decorating project we undertake, whether its redesigning a single room or an entire home, is based on a pre-agreed budget. This ensures that you always know how much you will be spending. Whether you want to refresh your home with new wallpaper and some new pillows, art, or complete a full redesign, Rain Decor will work with you to establish a realistic budget.

Building A New Home

If you are considering building a new home, we can work with you to help guide you through the numerous decisions involved.  Typically, you are given one day to view your options, then one day to make final choices for your new home. This process can be quite overwhelming, so let us assist you before your builder locks in those choices. Allow us be there at your side as a sounding board and to help you with your choices. At an hourly rate we will guide you with:
